Air
Key points to retain. Temperature is only one dimension of comfort and indoor air quality. Renewal, filtration, cooling, heating, humidity, distribution and extraction must be distinguished.
A room air conditioner does not guarantee outdoor-air renewal. Too little airflow harms air quality; too much wastes energy and creates noise. Poorly maintained condensate drains and filters become problems themselves. A/01 Principle diagram — project-specific adaptation required

Understand the mechanism, then its consequences. 01 Outdoor air and extract Outdoor air enters in a controlled way and stale air is removed from suitable zones.
02 Filtration Filters are selected according to pollutants, use and pressure loss.
03 Thermal and moisture treatment Coils, direct expansion or other systems control temperature and humidity.
04 Supply and return Jet geometry and grille position avoid dead zones, short circuits and draughts.

Clear answers without oversimplifying. 01 Why does a room smell despite cooling?Cooling may recirculate air without removing pollutants or bringing enough outdoor air.
02 Should CO₂ be measured?It can be a useful occupancy-related indicator when interpreted with occupancy and other pollutants.
03 Why is there water below the unit?Blocked drain, slope, insulation, tray, pump or surface condensation may be involved.
